Privacy Policy

Overview

Beatmap.ai ("Beatmap", "we", "us") is an electronic music events and travel platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep it simple because we believe you should actually be able to read and understand your privacy policy.

Data we collect

We only collect what we need to make Beatmap work for you:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account via magic link sign-in. We do not store passwords.
• Artist follows — the artists you choose to follow on Beatmap, stored so your preferences persist across devices and sessions.
• Saved trips — trip itineraries you explicitly save to your account.
• Session data — standard authentication tokens stored in your browser to keep you signed in.

We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any data beyond what is listed above.

How we use your data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To save and sync your followed artists and trip plans across devices
• To send you artist and event alerts you have opted into
• To improve the Beatmap experience over time

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described below.

Third-party services

Beatmap uses the following services to operate:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your email and account data is stored on Supabase servers. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Netlify — website hosting. See netlify.com/privacy.

When you click through to external booking partners (Skyscanner, Booking.com, Hostelworld, Airbnb, Resident Advisor, Dice.fm), you are subject to their respective privacy policies. Beatmap may receive a commission from these partners when you make a booking.

Cookies & storage

Beatmap uses browser local storage and cookies solely to maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data at any time
• Opt out of any email communications (other than essential auth emails)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. overall follow counts for artists) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be traced back to you.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Beatmap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
